Moon Ceremony in Paris: A Women’s Circle for Connection and Community

Last Sunday, 11 women gathered together in Paris for Moon Ceremony.

We came to welcome spring, reconnect with ourselves, and set intentions for the months ahead.

The evening started in a way that was a little unexpected: with dance.

There was laughter, some awkwardness, and that feeling of moving with your eyes closed in a room full of strangers. But something softened quite quickly. It felt like we were slowly letting go of the perfect image we so often carry.

Then we moved into Hatha yoga, to come back into the body and a little less into the mind.

Later, we reflected on manifestation, not only as something we wish for, but as something we begin to embody.

Each woman stepped into the version of herself she is becoming in 2027 and, from that place, wrote a letter to the woman she is today.

By the end of the evening, the women who had arrived as strangers were gathered around sealing their letters with wax, repeating affirmations together, and placing their intentions into one shared box.

It was a really beautiful moment.

I felt deeply honored that each woman trusted me to hold her letter until January 2027, when I will send it back to her.

Moments like this remind me again why I created Moon Ceremony in Paris.

Last year, when I interviewed women living abroad about their real challenges, many spoke about loneliness, missing deeper connection, and how hard it can feel to build real community as adults. This was especially true for women navigating life abroad, language barriers, cultural differences, work, or motherhood.

That is part of why I created Moon Ceremony: a women’s circle in Paris where connection can happen more naturally. A space where women, especially expat, international, and multicultural women, can soften, be themselves, and feel safe enough to open up.

You do not need to know yoga. You do not need to wear makeup. You do not need to come with a friend. You can simply come as you are.

The letter from your future self will not be part of every ceremony this year, but the intention remains the same: to create a gentle women’s gathering in Paris where women can reconnect, reflect, and feel held.

For those who were curious but hesitant, here are a few words from the women who joined us:

  • “I felt welcomed and safe from the very beginning. Ayu created such a gentle, intentional, and caring space.” — T.

  • “There was a rare sense of safety and openness. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and more anchored in myself.” — T.

  • “A beautiful moment, full of grace, connection, and the kind of sharing only women can create together.” — P.

If you are looking for a women’s circle in Paris, a gentle wellness gathering, or simply a space to reconnect and be with other women, I would love to welcome you to a future Moon Ceremony.

Send me a message — I’d love to hear from you.
